We are currently looking for a number of new members  of the Project Plan and Risk management Shared Services team at Cognizant accountable for providing a range of services to support day to day operations on site at a major bank in London. The positions will be focussed on delivering financial administration, resource planning and project mobilisation closure.
 
Area of responsibilities:
·         To analyse Management Information Reports and spot issues and challenges around key findings , adding value of solutions and support
·         To provide project support by ensuring that the right documentation is in place, invoices are correct, purchase orders are in place, etc.
·         To work with Programme or Project Managers to update Finance tool forecasts based on requirements
·         To resolve incorrect cost transfers and complete cost transfer templates
·         To manage a Finance Risks Analysis file to ensure that all risks costs are captured and reported to Project Leads
·         To scrutinise programme accounts - review burn rates, challenge generics, make sure the right people are charging time to the project
·         To track key project milestones and link these to the cost forecast
·         To proactively report findings - compare forecast to and flag variances

We are looking for candidates with experience in Finance Analysis and Stakeholder Management in a financial services environment. You will have good attention to detail, value accuracy and thrive in a dynamic environment where initiative and proactive attitude are rewarded.
Successful candidates need to have prior experience in working on large complex programmes and be able to co-manage multiple projects at any one time.
These will initially be 1 year fixed term contracts. However, due to Cognizant's very dynamic growth there may be opportunities to join other long term projects within the company after the initial 12 month period.
