PMO Analyst – Permanent – Banking recruitment

A leading Asset Management organisation is currently looking for an exceptional PMO Analyst. The PMO Analyst will support Programme Managers and manage all the disciplines of a PMO including Risk and Issues Management, Resource Coordination, Reporting and Financial Control.

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving project governance, assisting Senior Management in project methodologies, and support all existing operational processes to achieve project delivery.

Any experience of working for an Asset Management organisation is highly desirable.

Reporting Analysis

*Manage the monthly project reporting process; set up steering and project meetings; produce steering committee packs and responsible for production of steering and project team minutes.
*Ensure programme CAIR log is maintained, analysed and resolved; monitor progress of actions to address risks and issues.
*Provides detailed and summary reports as required, ensuring reports are produced to a consistent high quality
*Provides updates and management reporting to line management on a regular or ad hoc basis.

Project Finance Management

*Provides support with project budget tracking and reporting, ensuring compliance to standards governance structure.
*Assists Senior Management with Yearly Planning Budgeting.

Applicants must be happy to organise meetings and provide administrative support and ad-hoc activities to help management.

Qualifications

Role Requirements:

Professional/Technical Experience:
*Experience of Project Management working in a PMO
*Thorough understanding of the project life-cycle and tools /techniques/standards within each phase.
*Excellent analytical skills and the ability to draw out information.
*Preparation of senior management information packs.
*Ability to facilitate/chair status meetings and workshops.
*Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills.
*Good MS Project skills - Gantt, resourcing, planning, scheduling.

*Excellent interpersonal skills and able to communicate effectively at different levels within the organisation
