PMO Consultant- Investment Banking- London- £500-600 pd recruitment
PMO required by an internationally acclaimed Investment Bank based in the City of London. This company is renowned for its’ excellent range of financial instruments and the number of their institutional clients.
My client has a requirement for a PMO to join their Programme Office who are playing a key roll in all of the investment bank’s technology projects, which spread across all of the bank’s functions from the trading floor to the back office.
Core competencies required
• Excellent experience as a PMO within an investment bank (essential)
• Excellent experience of managing large projects, within a bank, throughout the full lifecycle
Knowledge of HARBOUR and other internal forecasting/management systems a plus
• Strong communication stakeholder management skills
• Educated to degree level or equivalent qualification
This role will involve the candidate filling a vital role within the Programme Office and the candidate will be integral to the successful completion of a number of mission critical projects for the investment bank. The PMO will be expected to report to senior executives within the bank, from both the IT and Business side, and will need to be an effective communicator to both sides of the business.
The candidate will be focused on working closely with clients and will have responsibility for delivering a number of projects in a timely, quality assured and cost effective manner. This role is ideal for a candidate with excellent PMO experience, who is used to working closely with the business within an investment bank, who is looking for the next step in their career within one of the premier banks in the City.
