An experienced PMO Consultant is required to work for a prestigious insurance organisation in the City.
 
The Role:
Duties will include providing project support including owning and maintaining project management templates, monitoring of data input compliance in PPM, managing 3rd party suppliers and managing project pipeline activities.
As the PMO consultant you must be prepared to ‘push back’ to the business, you will have hands on experience of dealing with governance and very strong stakeholder management.
Management of the third party supplier supporting PPM
Manage project pipeline activities: chair the Project Review Board and support the Operations Leadership Team pipeline discussions
Work with the Resource Manager to coordinate the overall project resource allocations
Work with the project managers to ensure effective use of PPM and standard project management techniques
Manage the preparation of regular project reporting packs
Track the effectiveness of Project Delivery against predefined targets
Build strong productive relationships with the managers and staff within IT and Operations in order to ensure the Project process is as efficient as possible.

The Candidate:
Candidates will need to have similar experience to the above to apply, including solid PMO experience, experience of supporting a centralised business and PMO function, and full exposure to the full project life cycle.
It is preferred that candidates have Prince 2, experience of using HP PPM and knowledge of the Lloyd’s/London Insurance Market.
