ROLE SUMMARY:

The people fulfilling the Consulting roles within the IT Project Management function will provide another specific service offering into the technology organisation. Their main roles and responsibilities will be as follows:

- Provide strategic and consulting style advice and project execution services to support IT
management's most significant challenges
- Be able to analyse complex problems / situations and to propose simple solutions
- Perform project reviews and assist in turning around poorly performing projects and areas of
IT
- Identify cost and process improvement opportunities and propose programmes of work to
address issues and to support real improvements in IT service quality to the business areas
- Have total flexibility to be able to work in all areas of the technology organisation, being able to
quickly shape work, learn new specific skills and to deliver high-quality results at speed
- Be able to act as a sole practitioner, and to also lead diverse teams of varying sizes and
degrees of seniority and ability
- To ensure linkage to external world to ensure the Credit Suisse Technology Group is abreast
of relevant market developments

THE ROLE INVOLVES:

The IT Project Services Team is a new IT-wide organization, which supports the long-term success of Credit Suisse IT by providing high quality consulting and project management services for strategic IT initiatives.

The Team will have a Global Lead based in London and Regional Management teams located in the UK, US, Zurich and Singapore. The Project Services Team will actively support the CIO and functional/regional heads in IT transformation projects by providing comprehensive and efficient project work based on best practices.

The Team will also support the application development and technology infrastructure units in CIO-sponsored programs.

TO QUALIFY, YOU MUST POSSESS:

The candidate must have:
- A banking or consultancy background (10 years + experience) and a strong understanding of
structured program management in the banking arena
- A proven track record of successfully supporting large complex programs within a banking
environment (10 years + experience) with a significant bias to consulting / strategic work
- Proven organizational, leadership and management skills
- Ability to communicate effectively to senior managers
- Ability to produce clear, concise reporting
- Exceptional strategic analysis, problem solving, issue resolution and decision making skills
- Exceptional presentation development skills
- Proven ability to communicate and develop long lasting relationships with all levels of
Management in a clear, concise manner
