Our client is a Tier 1 Investment Bank with a strong pan APAC presence. They have out lined a requirement to strengthen their Asia Pacific Project Management Office with an experienced PMO at VP level.
The successful applicant will be a highly experienced self motivated individual who has an excellent track record of working across broad and complex change environments. The candidate should have a detailed understanding of project management methodologies and supporting processes, and be able to directly influence the bank's project management community to ensure successful delivery against programme objectives and compliance with standards and policies.
The incumbent would be expected to:
- Act as the central PMO to support the APAC change organisation
- Review and validate programme / project progress reports with managers and maintain overall change plan across programmes
- Track project risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies and be actively involved in resolution as required
- Maintain tracking of overall programme resource requirements financial reporting
- Implement and provide support training for the standard project management tools and processes
- Support requests for change programme communication requests
- Work effectively with global PMO team and act as first point of contact for requests made to the region
To qualify, individuals MUST possess:
- University degree holder or above
- Experience with formal project management methodology (Prince2 / PMP) and supporting tools
- Consolidated change programme plan and reports
- Formal programme governance structure and process
- Resource and financial forecast and reports
- Programme communications plan and material
- Good knowledge of investment banking
- Ability to define, develop and implement models and frameworks for project management and business analysis
- Ability to influence stakeholders and project management community
