PMO needed to lead and run multiple portfolios within the COO office for a Tier 1 investment bank. In this high profile role, you will be owning and implementing a new strategic platform to replace their existing platform as well as ensuring that what the team are currently using continues to meet the requirements that the programme boards ask for.

At present project accounting is done through the budget system at a cost centre level, but they will want to be able to run it at a programme level in the future. The right person will have a good solid PMO background, and will have worked in a programme portfolio capacity across technology. They will be able to manage senior stakeholders, and will also understand and drive programme reporting and data to those who request it, being able to put the information in to the most relevant format for those who are viewing.  They’ll be able to look at the reporting piece and understand who it’s currently run, and look to improve the processes in place however they deem suitable. The successful candidates will also be required to hold and manage all of the programme budgetary information produce high level reports for the programme board on a weekly and monthly basis.
