PMO Lead / PMO Support recruitment
Group Finance Change is responsible for all projects being led by or impacting the Finance function within Deutsche Bank and for 2011 represents a book of work of approximately 150 projects covering 8 different Finance Change areas.
Key Responsibilities
You will join the Group Finance Change PMO function and in addition to the core tasks listed below will be expected to help develop shape the future tasks within the PMO team, increasing value added activity:
- Collation of monthly project reporting packs for Stride Steering Committee and Group Finance Change Governance Board;
- Ability to review and challenge Project Managers regarding status reporting, risks issues, changes to milestones (scope, time and cost). Not just administration/facilitation of a process.
- Ability to communicate with senior stakeholders (up to MD level) to elicit information that may then require interpretation and summarising.
- Preparation of reporting packs for monthly reviews with Finance Change Programme Director;
- Monitoring project status and high level milestones across Finance and Stride projects;
- Operation of change control process for all project artefacts;
- Assistance with process to track benefits realisation;
- Co-ordination of developments relating to in house Project Reporting tool including project set up for 2012;
- Maintenance of central RAID and actions logs;
- Ongoing development of BAU tasks to streamline where possible;
- Implementation of reporting for 2012 project plans including milestone tracking;
- Monitoring the implementation and coverage of the Quality Assurance process including process improvement;
- Evolution and maintenance of a Project Managers Kitbag to include methodologies, templates and tools.
You will have:
- Previous experience in Project Accounting and PMO role within the Investment Banking industry
- Good analytical skills
- Ability to work in a change environment
- Ability to manage conflicting priorities
- Good Excel (Pivot Tables V Look Ups) PowerPoint skills
- Attention to detail
You will be:
- A self starter, with the ability to take the initiative to propose improvements to how we add value and then execute against them.
- Educated to degree level or able to demonstrate equivalent experience.
This contract position is initially for a 6 month period, although given the volume of work being scheduled for 2012, there may be the real potential for contract extension. To apply, please send your CV.
