PMO Manager
Essential skills: Demonstrable track record of working within a global trading organisation such as an Investment Bank, Commodities Trader, Asset Manager etc. Strong stake holder management skills; experience running a PMO reporting into a global technology manager; experience running high level steering committees; strong budgetary and financial management skills.
You will have previous experience working in global technology business as a PMO with a proven permanent career record, career contractors should not apply for this role. The successful candidate will have proven ability in program management across large global programs. Experience in Financial Management and Benefit tracking for large and global technology change programs.
The role will suit someone who has the ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders. Stakeholder management is key to this role, dealing with Director level managers on a daily basis and regular interaction with MD level managers. You will have a proven track record of successfully supporting medium to large scale projects within a trading organisation. You will need to have been successful in previous project delivery using your PMO Management skills and supported large scale PMO functions.
Within this role you will be responsible for supporting the Global CIO, individual project managers and department heads on multiple high level IT projects and programs. You will be responsible for monitoring, tracking and reporting on a range of technology projects currently running across the globe. Establishing and maintaining project governance is key to being successful in this role. Scheduling, attending and running project meetings and documenting meeting minutes and action items. Effectively communicating with key project stakeholders on project progress and facilitating open information flows among project stakeholders.
This is an exciting role for an experience, permanent PMO manager who can work alone or run small teams, and has impressive gravitas to work with and handle senior stakeholders within a global technology operation.
