PMO Manager (delivery experience essential) – Fund Manager – London recruitment

This is an excellent opportunity to get involved in a major new multi-year technical programme that will deliver extra revenue generating potential with full buy in from key director and C level stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

-Advise on and implement planning standards across the programme – ensuring buy in from other PMO’s in a matrix environment (significant level of cross programme dependencies to be managed at a strategic change control level).  
-Manage change control for the programme including due diligence of programme wide change requests (with potential to have significant impact to Corporate Programme of Change)
-Manage risk governance standards for the programme including revision documentation of what these standards need to be and communication integration of these standards across the programme.
-Streamline the production of MI ensure quality MI is being obtained from the programme at PMO level, pushing back where necessary (using PMO best practice)
-Identification of business requirements for an online project programme management tool (Tracker).  Liaison with the integration team to ensure tool meets requirements and is adhered to by the programme.
-Make recommendations on streamlining processes procedures using PMO best practice.  Documentation communication maintenance of those procedures.
-Implement quality review process for programme
-Support for Programme Directorate as a whole including various board committee meetings, maintenance of logs, meeting schedules, CRAID logs, quality logs, financials, document management, creation management of templates.
-Management/Team supervision, lead the team to achieve service excellence in their field.  Leading by example, ensure the teams awareness of the company's mission and values and ensure their understanding of their role in the overall objectives.  Manage the team through change and growth, clearly communicating on a timely basis, rationale for decisions. 

Required:

We are looking for a senior level PMO candidate who has a proven track record of delivery (essential), budget management, workstream and stakeholder management.
 

The right candidate will also possess excellent stakeholder, presentation and analytical skills gained in a Fund Management environment and a positive can do attitude, combined with strong attention to detail and an awareness of current market issues.  The candidate will have experience of coaching and developing members of staff.
