PMO / Programmer recruitment
- Establishes the annual budget for the entire department for the fiscal year and coordinates the budgeting process among IT staff to determine budgetary needs for software, consultants, resources for projects, etc; Supports and advises staff in the process.
- Monitors the actual vs. budget on a daily basis.
- Coordinates, organizes, and publishes minutes for recurring steering committees’ and managers’ meetings.
- Works closely with IT Security Officer to resolve open audit issues that were proposed by Bank Hapoalim’s Internal Audit Department.
- Works closely with the Accounting and Finance Departments to report “work in progress”. Information reported includes listing open projects, staff selected to work on projects, time allotted for each project, and the department the project is designed for.
- Acts as liaison between Vendors and Legal Department when negotiating/renewing contracts and between Vendors and Accounting Department to resolve billing issues.
- Ensures accuracy of invoices when received and prepares payment requests.
- Assists the IT Applications Support area with creation of reports as requested for Internal Audit, External Audit and Regulatory Agencies.
- Assists the IT Applications Support area with minor program changes, prepares program documentation, and performs testing, debugging, adjusting and modification functions as required.
- Analyzes and develops computer programs to cover small projects as assigned.
- Assists IT Applications Support in researching/analyzing Customer inquiries/Help Desk items related to application issues and provides resolution or escalation were applicable.
- Performs other duties, as assigned, which fall within the scope of responsibility.
Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including: PowerPoint, Excel and Word are required. Working knowledge of COBOL, SQL, Crystal Reports and operating systems in use. Analytical skills and basic knowledge of computer programs, applications, hardware, software and data relationships. Experience in managing projects required. Up to one or more years programming experience preferably in COBOL and Crystal Reports required. Basic understanding of the Banking and Financial Services industry.
