PMO, Senior Manager – Retail recruitment
Our exclusive client is a well known leading Retail organisation. They seek to hire a Senior Manager to join their Project Management Office.
The Senior Manager needs to develop and maintain close working relationship with respective business functions in Finance, HR, Shared Services and Stores with the emphasis on front line managers, middle management and process owners. He/she needs to understand, define and communicate the business objective, requirement, priorities, and liaise with respective IT business analysts, application delivery / support, quality assurance and infrastructure team to ensure the IT services meet the business needs.
The Senior Manager could be assigned as program / project manager on defined initiatives. Work with the business to influence and execute its strategy by delivering IT solutions, achieving IT KPIs and be accountable and responsible for IT cost within budget and to meet specific corporate objectives. This is accomplished by leading projects by leveraging the IT organization, business knowledge, business relationships and third party vendor services. The Senior Manager may partner with Director PMO on a project or manage projects solo depending on the scope and scale of the initiative.
The Successful Candidate
- Degree in business / technical area; advanced degree preferred, with minimum 7 years of relevant experience
- Manager with 2 to 4 years management experience or above, and Senior Manager with 4 years management experience or above
- PMP, ITIL certification preferred
- Strong background in managing, implementing and deploying technology solutions.
- Management of IT consulting initiatives.
- Effective cost management and control
- Knowledge in two or more areas: finance, human resource, supply chain or retail systems
- Strong interpersonal skills, effective communication and strong presentation skills
- Knowledge of current IT industry trends and solutions
- Strong skills in deal making and negotiations
- Retail / Store Operations / Financial Services background (favourable)
- Loyalty Programs / CRM Projects (Favourable)
