Role Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Steria at Cleveland Police as an Driver Trainer. The successful candidate will responsible for providing theory and practical driver training for all drivers of Police vehicles within Cleveland Police
Role Responsibilities
- Meet all the present and future needs of the police service by employing current driver training philosophies and standards
- Provide theory and practical driver training to Cleveland Police
- Ensure the quality and cost effectiveness of the training delivery
- Ensure that levels of driving competency needed to meet requirements of role
Essential Skill Set:
- Strong experience of advanced driver training ideally within the emergency services
- Category CD LGV PCV driving licence entitlement
- Police Advanced Driving Certificate or similar
- Excellent customer service skills
- Understanding of health safety at work and risk assessments
- Driving Standards Agency approved driving instructor qualification would be an advantage
