Title: TRIBAL POLICE OFFICER

Salary: DOE- 40 hours a week

Position Description: The Officer will perform law enforcement work within the South Fork Indian Reservation. Officer must have

knowledge of police officer’s role and the ability to communicate these duties and responsibilities verbally with others, therefore excellent skill and ability to communicate in writing and verbally. SFBC is willing to sponsor the right applicant to become POST Certified!

Qualifications:

• High School Graduate or GED

• Clean FBI and State criminal background

• Must possess a valid Nevada Commercial Driver’s License

• The minimum age for this position is 21 years.

 

Title: BOOKKEEPER

Salary: DOE- 40 hours a week

Major Duties: Full charge bookkeeper responsibilities, an annual audit, and general assistance in financial matters with all South Fork Band employees. This position will work closely with the Administrator of South Fork with monthly budgets, programs funding, and financial reports. 

Qualifications: Qualified candidates must be efficient in:

• QuickBooks, Computer literate in Microsoft Excel, Word, Publisher, Office Outlook

• Basic accounting principles and ethics, preferred job experience or degree in related fields

• Knowledge of federal funding and contracts

• Valid NV drivers license/Clean FBI and State criminal background

• High school diploma, GED, and a college degree is preferred

 

Title: Social Services Coordinator Director

Salary: DOE- 20 hrs a week.

Major Duties: Will administer the Social Services program(s) eligible to Native Americans that relate directly to family and children.

Minimum of two years demonstrated experience/knowledge in social services program or related fields.

• Qualifications: Valid NV drivers license/Clean FBI and State criminal background
