Columbia, IL Police Department is currently seeking applicants for police officer eligibility list. Applicants must be 21-35 yrs. (some exceptions per state law) w/min. of 64 hrs. college credit. Residency within 6 months of hire. Applications must be obtained in person at Columbia PD, 1020 N. Main, Columbia, IL 62236. Applications must be received by May 1, 2012 at midnight. Applicants that do not live in the area may fax a copy of their license to dispatch. A copy of the application packet will then be emailed or faxed to the candidate.
