Policy Advisor – Energy Company
Our client is well known throughout the world, commanding a strong presence within the power and gas sectors. You will be the centre of expertise for energy policy and regulation issues, and a key interface between the B2B portfolio and external regulatory bodies. This role is therefore high-profile both internally and externally, with a fantastic exposure to key stakeholders. A key feature of the role is to ensure that the ongoing changes to energy policy are integrated within the full value chain of the company structure.
This role will provide you with the opportunity to influence energy policy within theUKand wider geographies through participating in public events, lobbying with other industry partners.
To be successful you will be:
- Educated to a degree standard
- A wide developed knowledge of the UK Energy Sector, particularly in terms of environmental legislation, market operation, policy, regulation and compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to analyse complex models and regulatory issues and communicate their meaning and implications in an understandable way.
