Policy and Regulatory Officer recruitment
Investment professional responsible for driving policy, procedures and documentation. The individual will manage the Investment Risk Management's overall policy and regulatory efforts. Focus will be on developing a rational structure to support the education of internal and external stakeholders on the appropriate policies, procedures and risk framework governing Prudential's proprietary investing.
Primary Areas of Responsibility:
Acts as the primary point of contact with Federal regulators for Investment Risk Management
Ensures appropriate documentation is developed, maintained and submitted to evidence the implementation of appropriate policy and procedure that complies with internal audit, regulatory requirements.
Support various policy initiatives across the organizations, including Enterprise Risk Management and Internal Asset Management Units.
Tracks status, manages issues, dependencies, and makes appropriate representations to regulators and internal constituents
Craft recommendations on key regulatory issues to Senior Management
Skills
Required Skills:
Knowledge of Fed regulation as applied to banks
Ability to navigate, understand and simplify complex organizational issues and effectively communicate to regulators and internal constituents.
Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and presentation), especially in addressing technical investment and financial issues.
Detail oriented.
Excellent coordination / project management.
Must be able to function in a faced paced environment with tight deadlines.
Knowledge of financial markets and instruments with an ability to quickly learn new products.
Demonstrated effectiveness working independently and in multi-disciplinary teams.
Demonstrated ability to engage the support and resources of others to achieve project goals and objectives with ability to influence others' actions and decisions.
Proven ability to manage multiple competing priorities, making sound business decisions.
