Learn more at multicarejobs Position Summary: This individual is responsible for the safe operation of sophisticated medical equipment to record sleep/wake physiology and performing diagnostic and therapeutic polysomnography in accordance with physician orders and organizational policies and procedures. This is a technical position functioning independently with limited supervision. Work situations require extensive knowledge and the application of advanced expertise in the field of sleep disorders, and sound clinical judgments, actions, and decision making regarding unusual patient behavior, i.e. seizure activity, life threatening cardiac and respiratory abnormalities. Minimum Requirements: Must be a registered Polysom Tech with at least one year polysomnographic technology experience for this position. Education/Licenses/Certifications: Must be a Registered Polysom Tech; Must have Health Care Provider CPR Certification. Additional Information Must have excellent customer service skills; will spend at least 20 hrs a wk in Covington and must be willing to work at other sleep locations as well, in Puyallup, Tacoma, Gig Harbor and Olympia.
