Pool Registered Nurse – 7pm
- Under the general supervision of Maternal-Child Director, direct supervision of the Charge Nurse, the Registered Nurse in Labor and Delivery is responsible for the provision of safe, effective care of the childbearing patient and the newborn.
A. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing preferred.
B. Current licensure in Texas as Registered Nurse.
C. Three years previous clinical nursing (RN) experience in Labor Delivery / Maternal Child Services environment required for Pool / Per Diem status.
D. Current CPR certification.
E. Neonatal Resuscitation Certification and Advanced CardiacLife Supportwithin ninety (90) Days of hire.
F. Fetal monitoring completed within six (6) months from hire for experienced nurse and within eighteen (18) months for Nurse returning to the profession in Labor Delivery.
