Port Operations/Sales Coordinator Job in Seattle, Washington US

We are currently in search of a highly qualified Port Operations/Sales Coordinator to fill an open position in our Seattle, WA location.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:
- Arrange Vessels, Port and Cargo Operations in accordance with local rules/regulations and security procedures
- Sales duties as assigned
- Solve terminal booking problems, update systems and assist customer and drivers with issues
- Prepares hazardous manifests and collects hazardous dock receipts are combined to the information contained within the booking
- Initial point of contact for claims, notifying the proper parties of damaged equipment/cargo and arranging for surveys to be conducted
- Prepare, coordinate and supervise transshipment activities
- Validate invoices for storage, reefer monitoring and various terminal costs
Additional Knowledge, Skills Abilities
· Ability to handle details and resolve problems
· Demonstrated strong listening, verbal and written communication skills
· Self starter, self motivated, resourceful and responsive
· Ability to work effectively in a team environment and good interpersonal skills.
· Demonstrated ability to be multi-task, set priorities, organize work and implement action items
· Strong PC skills and expertise in Microsoft office products (Excel, Word, Power Point and Access)
