Our client is seeking an experienced Portal Product Manager who can oversee product development and marketing initiatives (including significant web-based initiatives) for their system solution products and services across multiple distribution channels.

The Portal Product Manager position offers a compensation package that includes a six figure salary, bonus and company paid benefits. Lastly, this position reports directly to the company’s CEO.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Participates in overall portal/ web product strategy, research and development requirements for existing and emerging web based products and services.
Coordinates and develops marketing, sales, and financial plans for System Solutions product line across multiple domains and distribution channels.
Establishes product scope including current deliverables and leads future development of product and services.
Design (conceptually) user friendly interfaces to complex financial products.
Helps create demos, brochures and other collateral material.
Assist Sales Representatives in bringing in new accounts and servicing existing business.
Collaborates with a wide variety of functional areas such as sales, research, marketing, technology platforms, and operations to develop and provide product definitions responsive to customer needs and market opportunities.
Participates in board level presentations in key sales situations for the product.
Deliver management presentations to update on the status of product development and sales goals across distribution channels.
Provides technical expertise and training to other departments in support of product development.
Research and develop new product distribution channels.
Prepares product (including technology-enabled) development objectives, general marketing messaging and schedules for all phases of product development and introduction to market.
Conducts market research and identifies and tracks market trends and disruptive emerging growth opportunities.
Produces competitive analysis materials comparing product with its key competitors.
Identifies partnering and strategic opportunities for complementary third-party products to broaden company's product line and to expand distribution.
