Portfolio Analyst GL recruitment

The role is to support the Head of Strategic Finance Global Life with all Global Life Actuarial interfaces related to the portfolio and product profitability analysis within Global Life, performing the regular Risk Based Return Measure (RBRM) analysis and supporting the roll-out and ongoing production and analysis of the GL cash profiling framework.

The main activities in this role include:
The most important task is the analysis of actuarial input to the Global Life semi annual risk adjusted portfolio analysis (key element of Solvency II Use Test for all the European countries).
In addition you will conduct the analysis of actual and plan new business and enforce RBRM results, derive driver and sensitivity analysis, link the results to the business, discusse results with the business and develop recommendations. You will streamline the portfolio analysis production and report processes in Global Life . Finally you will support the roll-out and the ongoing production and analysis of the Global Life cash profiling (design and roll-out a framework that enables the production of a cash emergence profile for Global Life as well as understanding how business operating profit and cash reconcile).

To your degree in mathematics, economics or finance, actuarial exams, CPA, CFA would be helpful, you should add solid experience in insurance, robust life product knowledge and risk based performance and accounting knowledge, excellent process knowledge, preferably understanding of ZFS and GL strategy, organization and culture and solid project leadership experience. Furthermore you have a proven track record in risk based capital and performance measurement and management, in-depth accounting knowledge, thorough business and industry knowledge and experience of working with business units and international teams. Your English is fluent written and spoken.
