Our Risk Management Division is looking for an outstanding performer who is looking for a new challenge to join their team. As a Portfolio Analyst you will be primarily responsible for all aspects relating to credit limit optimization and account management including, strategy design, process and implementation along with analysis and profitability modeling.
This role is not just about reporting, we need you to provide insights into our data to help drive our credit risk strategies which will be complemented by your exceptional quantitative and data mining skills.
If you bring a combination of the following skills, then we want to hear from you:
· A business background in the banking or financial industries
· Proven analysis and problem solving ability, particularly with large volumes of data
· Ability to translate business requirements into the necessary specifications to capture data and build comprehensive reporting
· Leadership, with the ability to build relationships with and influence stakeholders at all levels
· A minimum 1 year of SAS/SQL experience
· Strong verbal written communication skills with the ability to write high level reports.
· An understanding of relevant financial accounting and risk return concepts
· Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills (ability to use formulas, functions, pivot tables, graphs)
