A Private Equity Backed Tech Start Up seeks a Commercial Director to run Finance Operations
This Tech / Telecoms start-up has developed an amazing new service in transportation communications that is being rolled out nationally with major transport services. The firm seeks a Commercial Director to work closely with the Investor to drive operational performance and manage the finance function.
This is an outstanding opportunity to work within a Private Equity backed start-up that has an outstanding product and excellent existing contracts in place. Reporting to the PE Investor and in direct liaison with the founders, you will provide operational guidance, support and leadership to the business and streamline the finance function in readiness for rapid expansion as the firm takes off.
Candidates will be:
* Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
* Strong commercial focus with the ability to lead through experience gained preferably from a start-up environment with a Tech or Telecoms focus.
* Excellent financial acumen balanced with a strong knowledge of operational performance improvement and defining the financial strategy for the firm.
* Knowledge of legal practicalities involved in a start-up business (contract negotiations, 3rd party agreements etc.)
* Knowledge of HR operations would also be extremely useful.
