Portfolio Design Lead
Job Role- Portfolio Design Lead Location- Cheshire
Lead a team of designers across all technologies for the Client – UK and Europe portfolio. The individual should be proficient in Stakeholder Management and Technical Leadership and will need to work with Business representatives, Technical Architects and E2E designers to help design solutions and roadmaps aligned to organizational goals. Needs to ensure creation of reusable assets, catalogues standards across all technologies. Provide leadership guidance for issue resolution, portfolio demand management and Service Improvement. Needs to work closely with the Portfolio Delivery Lead to plan project delivery pipeline prioritisation.
Lead Portfolio design reviews governance forums.
Skills Experience
• Excellent technical knowledge of one of the key technologies in the platform (AbInitio, Informatica, WMB, Teradata)
• Strong knowledge of regulatory, legal, group Risk focussed implementations will be preferred
• Experience of designing strategic solutions designing technical roadmaps working with the Technical Architects
• Represent BIIS technologies and capabilities in required forums to drive an integrated solution
• Defining standards and patterns for implementation of reusable solutions; driving creation of assets for the platform
• Excellent understanding of business and operational processes
• Experience of leading problem / issue resolution
• Work closely with Business / Tech Office to manage demand for the portfolio
• Conduct Portfolio Design Reviews
• Provide leadership in Live Triage calls, RCA Reviews and Lead Defect Triage calls
• Drive reusability via Application catalogues
• Work closely with Portfolio Delivery Leads to manage Delivery Pipeline Conduct reviews
• Define innovative solutions, constantly exploring challenging product capabilities, liaise with product experts from within the organisation or with vendor partners
• Support development teams in reviewing project plan, conducting PIR Reviews
• Participate in Design Engagement reviews and provide reports on Portfolio Design status
