The Role
Our Client is looking for a senior Portfolio Director who will be responsible for the £500m solar portfolio that they have forecasted to be managing by April 2013.
You will be responsible for managing a team of Portfolio Managers (3 people) who are dealing with financial and operational issues on a daily basis. You need to understand the commercial impact of issues as they arise and have the experience of finding solutions and/or ensuring the appropriate updates are provided.
Skills/Experience
At least 10 years working in a portfolio management or equivalent role
Track record of establishing platform for reporting and managing the portfolio of investment or operational assets
A renewable energy or power background would be strongly preferred
Experience managing a team of people
Accounting background (ACA or CIMA qualified)
