Portfolio Manager Convertible Bonds – Region America
The Man Convertibles Team based in Pfäffikon is looking to recruit an additional team member with experience in both convertible bonds and portfolio management. The existing team consists of highly experienced professionals with a strong drive to outperform within the asset class through solid research and exposure management and is responsible for the performance of 5 convertible UCITs funds. The new team member will work independently and cover the region America as the responsible portfolio manager.
Responsibilities
- Independently execute portfolio strategy, striving for above benchmark performance, while adhering to guidelines and constraints
- Voting member of Convertible Bond Investment Board
- Contribute to asset-raising by participating in customer visits and other sales and marketing-related activities
- Provide portfolio information and persuasively explain to all stakeholders: portfolio strategy and reasons for changes, investment market views and portfolio risk
Requirements
- In-depth understanding of convertible securities and convertible bonds funds
- Good knowledge of the American equity, corporate bond and high yield market
- Experience in portfolio management or research
- Familiar with quantitative asset allocation techniques, risk management and portfolio theory
- Demonstrates regulatory and compliance knowledge
- Dynamic personality with high sense of responsibility
- Demonstrates confidence in own judgement
- Good English and German skills – both written and verbal
