Responsibilities
* Working with the lead Portfolio Manager, responsible for investment performance and day to day management of credit portion of Core/Core Plus assets.
* Articulate and maintain a robust and consistent investment process in managing the portfolios.
* Effectively conduct credit sector research and draw upon the resources of research analysts, as well as other primary and secondary research sources, in making portfolio decisions
* Monitor industry trends and contribute to team strategy discussions.
Required Qualifications
* Five to seven years of experience as a credit portfolio manager or similar experience as a credit research analyst
* Experience working in a total return environment leveraging off of centralized research and trading.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to quickly analyze credit quality and respond to requests in timely manner
* Quantitative and qualitative analytical skills to perform credit analysis, including proficiency with software tools such as Word, and Excel.
* Occasional travel
Preferred Qualifications
* Graduate degree in Finance, MBA or related field preferred.
* CFA preferred.
