Portfolio Manager | Director | Multi-Billion $ Global Macro Fund | Singapore
This is a unique opportunity to join one of the world's largest Global Macro Cross-Asset Funds whose Singapore based team deliver some of the most innovative strategies within this field. They are currently expanding after recent success and are keen to meet people with over 12 years experience in the market, with at least 6 in Portfolio Manager roles covering at least 3 different asset classes.
They have industry leaders within this field for over 20 years and seek intelligent and driven individuals who want to contribute to the next part of their growth in the industry.
Responsibilities
- Be a central Portfolio Manager for the firms Multi-billion dollar cross asset fund
- Work directly with the CIO on developing the overall investment strategy across a broad range of asset classes, based on detailed Macro Analysis of Global Markets and through the development of advanced quantitative analytical tools
- Use extensive research to develop medium (1 year ) and long term (5 year) investment strategies to the firm and assist with implementing and running the current strategies
- Work closely with the portfolio construction and model portfolio team to enhance the current strategies in place
Key Requirements
- A minimum of 12 years experience within the financial markets with at least 6 in Portfolio Management. Experience covering a range of asset classes is essential to this role.
- Professional experience running or researching a macro strategy
- University Educated obtaining at least a BSc. from a Global Top 50 University
- Working knowledge of building quantitative analytics tools is highly preferrable
- Excellent communcation skills in written and oral English. Another Asian Language is preferrable.
- Rigorous and meticulous research capabilities are required
