Our Client, a single Family Office located in New York City is seeking an experienced VP – Portfolio Manager. In this position, the VP will be responsible for performance analyses and asset allocation on a diverse group of asset classes including Fixed Income ( a must) Equities ( U.S. International), Futures and Derivatives, currencies, and alternative investments. They will present reports and analyses to senior executives and Board members and then make recommendations to the President/SVP based on these verbal and written reports. Lastly, the PM will conduct Fund manager meetings to review and supervise the processing of new fund and subscription documentation. They will negotiate fee structures for new investments and will demonstrate the ability to work and perform tasks independently.
The ideal candidate for the VP Portfolio Manager will have a Masters Degree, and MUST be a CFA with 8+ years of previous related experience. They should have an expertise in the Credit Markets, and possesses superior verbal and written skills, be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, and will be highly organized and detail oriented. They will be able to handle numerous projects and uphold the highest level of confidentiality and discretion.
