A well respected global financial services institution based in the Sydney CBD currently seeks a Portfolio Operations Specialist to join their expanding team.
In this position you will be responsible for the management of daily trade settlements and will be exposed to multiple Asset classes and Derivative products. Further you will be involved in cash and security reconciliation, monitoring global trading, performing Corporate Action activities and liaising between a number of internal and external stakeholders. As well as this you will be preparing data to support account opening and settlements, ensuring all procedures are adhered to, assisting in planning and implementation of products, helping develop and document processes and controls and completing other adhoc tasks.
To be successful in this role you will have Trade Settlements experience in Operations and will possess knowledge of Brokerage Operations, Custody or Clearing operations. You will also have excellent communication, analytical and problem solving skills and possess an understanding of operational risk and client documentation.
