Portfolio Performance Reporting Assistant recruitment

The Performance Reporting Group supports the firm’s consulting practice by providing investment performance measurement and evaluation services to our clients. The department is responsible for all aspects of performance reporting including data analysis, presentation, and development. The Group provides three distinct products, the Marketable Performance Report, the Marketable Alternative (MALT) Performance Report, and the Private Investments (PI) Performance Report. Currently, we provide over 1,500 client-specific reports to endowed universities, high net worth family trusts, and other not-for-profit institutions. 

Primary Responsibilities and Duties:

1. Support the end-to-end process of creating performance reports. Tasks will include but are not limited to: setting up, generating, formatting and bundling client performance reports.

2. Proactively collect data provided by team members, custodian websites and other internal sources, and organize them into client folders

3. Accurately input and reconcile clients’ financial/investment data into proprietary databases

4. Provide administrative support to the Client Reporting Team by creating and maintaining client folders, generating governance and internal reports, and updating client-specific performance reporting operations manuals

5. Maintain team status sheet tracking 300+ portfolios

6. Actively participate within the Department to expand knowledge, refine client reporting skills, and contribute to the evolution of the Department’s product and reporting methods

7. Assist other Portfolio Performance Reporting Assistants

8. Assist in the opening and filing of mail and other correspondences

9. Other duties as assigned, as earned and as the group evolves

Skills:

1. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; ability to interact efficiently with a wide range of colleagues across different time zones

2. Strong data entry and filing skills with an emphasis on timeliness and accuracy

3. Strong analytical, organizational and time management skills; ability to work on multiple tasks/projects simultaneously and to meet tight deadlines

4. Strong attention to detail and experience reconciling data across multiple sources

8. Computer literate with excellent MS Office skills, particularly in Excel

Qualifications:

• Diploma with up to 2 years of related work experience in the financial industry.
