Portfolio Reconciliation Accountant recruitment
MAIN DUTIES OF THE JOB:
- Generation and uploading of investment data for portfolios
- Liaising with brokers / custodians to ensure accurate and timely receipt of all portfolio information
- Input of new security information on systems
- Uploading new trades on systems
- Uploading of prices on the systems
- Investigating trade ‘breaks’ and other discrepancies with the broker / custodian
- Communicating with other departments and offices
QUALIFICATION / SKILL SET REQUIRED:
- Detailed knowledge of financial instruments (including futures and derivatives)
- Accounting qualification or background is preferential
- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills
- Previous experience in portfolio reconciliation
- Self-motivated
- Excellent communication skills
- Team orientated
- The ability to work to strict deadlines
- Knowledge of Bloomberg
- Fresh Graduates will be considered
