The Role:
Bloomberg is seeking a motivated and experienced Sales Representative to join our America's sales integration team focusing on the Latin American region. This role will be responsible for representing the suite of Portfolio Analytics and Bloomberg Professional solutions to both potential and existing clients, including the top tier of financial institutions in South and Central America. With a consultative approach, the sales representative will identify our clients' needs and demonstrate how Portfolio Analytics and Risk solutions will help our clients make the best investment/trading decisions. This individual will also manage the relationship from an integration perspective between Bloomberg, our customers and, if necessary, third parties responsible for administering our customer's portfolio data. This role demands a confident and client focused individual. Travel is required.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years working in OR selling to the buy-side (i.e. Pension funds, investment advisors, mutual funds) or 3 years Bloomberg sales experience.
- Deep understanding of Portfolio Risk Performance Attribution methodologies.
- Proven consultative sales and customer relationship skills.
- Ability to build and maintain solid client relationships.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong project management skills.
- Ability to develop and execute an implementation plan for each assigned customer.
- Creativity when it comes to marketing and promoting functionality.
- A self-starter, proactive team player with strong multi-tasking.
