Portfolio Risk Assistant
A new role has opened in one of the world's biggest global Investment Manager as a Portfolio Risk Assistant for a contract role. You will provide day to day support to Portfolio Risk and Analytics team. You will need good data handling skills, great interpersonal skills and an excellent team player.
Key Responsibilities
- To provide day to day support to Portfolio Risk and Analytics team
- Updating formatting excel s/sheets
- Inputting / extracting information in / out of Access databases
- Electronic record keeping
- Analysing large amounts of numerical data
- Producing ad-hoc reports and summarising data
- Ad hoc support to line manager with specific projects
- Support line manager in production of slides for client presentations and reports.
- Assist in the production and distribution of regular reports
- Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
- Good communication and analytical skills
Skills Required
- Degree level, preferably in a mathematical or quantitative discipline or equivalent
- Solid experience within a Wealth Investment Manager
- Advanced user of Excel. Ability to work with large amounts of data.
- Basic grasp of financial markets instruments.
- Competent user of Word and Power Point and Access
- Experience in an analytical role, preferably within financial services
- CFA level 1 or 2 candidate or equivalent
- IMC or equivalent
