Unique opportunity to work closely with an Investment Management team of a leading asset management firm! Our client, located in Downtown Toronto, is looking to add a
Portfolio Specialist
to its team to focus on investment communications, supporting sales and leadership in product innovation.
The primary responsibilities involved for the Portfolio Specialist will include:
- to act as an effective communicator and product expert for Investment Management and investment sales teams;
- to maintain and develop investment knowledge;
- to ensure clear and consistent internal and external communication of investment messages;
- to write relevant research papers that promote product process and capabilities;
- to represent the investment team in meetings with prospective or existing clients.
As a whole, the group will act as the Product Champion by focusing on investment communications, supporting sales, and leadership in product innovation.
Qualifications:
The successful Portfolio Specialist selected for this role will be working towards completion or having already achieved completion of designation as a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or an equivalent qualification. He/she will have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to present technical investment strategies and philosophies in a written format as well an ability to make formal oral presentations to a variety of audiences.
