Portfolio Team Leader recruitment

The Portfolio Team is responsible for maximising the net gain on sale within the Fleet portfolio through three core activities:

1) Managing the termination, selling off and total loss processes for over 12,000 terminations per annum,

2) Driving the rewrite and extensions activity in the portfolio to deliver over $3.5mil of incremental income,

3) Managing $8mil of driver sales per annum to deliver over $500k additional gain on sale.

Essential Responsibilities:

The Asset Management Team is responsible for the management and remarketing of all collaterals across the Leasing portfolios in the UK. This is achieved through effective in-life management of assets financed to customers and through optimising the management of remarketing activities through various sales Channels. These Channels are third party Remarketing Service Providers who specialise in specific collateral types. They include dealers, Internet remarketers and auction houses.
The Asset Management Organisation (AMO) in Fleet is responsible for the management of the portfolio, remarketing vehicles worth over $135mil and sundry income relating to the sale of the assets of over $7mil.

• Lead the Portfolio team and manage all AMO GENPACT activities.
• Lead and drive the Optimisation and Commercial teams to deliver all Extension, Rewrite and Driver Sales targets for the portfolio to deliver over $4mil of income.
• Manage all termination, selling off and total loss processes for over 12,000 terminations per annum through leading the AMO Operations team including the GENPACT team.
• Drive a metrics driven approach to AMO operations and ensure continuous process improvement including process documentation (SOPs), and development of workflow processes.
• SME for all Extension, Rewrite and termination queries.
• Take lead in developing marketing campaigns to maximise both Extensions and Driver Sales penetration.
• Manage all AMO customer queries and complaints through the iQuery process.
• Drive the proactive use of CRM tool to measure activity relating to extensions, rewrites and driver sales.
• Provide accurate forecasting of expected sales activity for each month.
• Actively promote teamwork with the AMO Associates and other functions to deliver against customer needs.
• Compliance with all AML and Remarketing policies.
• Report out activity to Senior Leaders as required.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Demonstrated leadership and teamwork skills within GE or another large multinational organisation.
• Experience and understanding of used vehicle remarketing and pricing.
• Extremely confident and comfortable with carrying financial and operational responsibility.
• Personal presence, ability to effectively communicate internally and externally.
• Highly numerate with an analytical approach to problem solving.
• Good track record of ability to demonstrate the GE Growth Values at a very high level.
• Excellent organising and planning skills, proven influencing skills in a challenging environment.
• Demonstrable IT skills, including Excel, Power point and CRM tool.
