Credit Risk is responsible for managing credit risks and recommending risk appetite for RBS within an effective credit risk framework. The credit risk framework is the collective term for the governance structures, policy standards, control processes and infrastructure established to support the management of credit risk.

As Portfolio Threat Mitigation Manager, you'll be responsible for pro-active identification and quantification of potential threats to the UK Personal Banking portfolio, and the market in which we operate. You'll work with the wider Credit Risk team to develop appropriate portfolio strategies, effectively mitigate risk and support stable earnings growth.

To succeed as Portfolio Threat Mitigation Manager you'll have the ability to think through problems from ‘first principles’. You'll have strategic awareness of the commercial and risk issues facing UK Personal Banking. Additionally, you'll have financial services experience, particularly within a credit risk environment. And knowledge of the credit risk landscape and practices, along with experience of risk management methodologies and operations.
