Post-Doctoral Research Scientist - In Vitro Metabolism and Transport Team
A postdoctoral position is available in the Drug Transport Team in the Department of Drug Disposition at Lilly Research Laboratories, a division of Eli Lilly and Company. The group bridges the clinical and basic sciences in the area of human drug transport. The successful candidate will compare expression systems and primary cell models of the liver. Utilizing the in vitro data, the scientist will then work to develop predictive models to better understand the clinical translation of the in vitro data. The scientist will also explore the relationship of transport and metabolism. Focusing on interaction in the liver and the ability to model and predict the dynamics of metabolism and transport.
KEY OBJECTIVES/DELIVERABLES:
- Exploration of hepatic uptake models for in vivo prediction
- Excellence in critical thinking, data analysis, verbal and written presentation of scientific results and communication with other scientists is essential.
- Responsibilities also include experimental design and execution, data collection and analysis of results.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- PhD in Biochemistry, Pharmacology, Biomedical or Pharmaceutical sciences
- Demonstration of good written and oral communication skills
