We are seeking a recognized database expert within the PostgreSQL and Oracle community to help direct its database migration services offering. Qualified candidates must have a solid and wide-reaching foundation in database architecture and programming languages, and possess excellent public speaking and writing skills.
The candidate will aid in the generation of marketing materials for our growing database migration services marketplace. In addition to assisting in Sales and Pre-Sales campaigns on a worldwide basis, the candidate will also regularly make presentations at Database Conferences and our customer meetings. Candidates must therefore display a strong technical and business credibility in front of technical and non-technical audiences.
15-20 years database experience; 5-10 years PostgreSQL experience; as a database architect, creative problem solving ability and an entrepreneurial work style as well as the proven ability to lead diverse teams.
In addition, successful PostgreSQL Architect candidates will have the following preferred background: college graduate with a BA or BS degree in Computer Science or related field - MS is preferred.
