A Top tier bank is looking for a Power and Gas Trade Support. Based in London
This is a great opportunity to work for a firm which is considered one of the leaders in commodities. This objective of the role is to ensure the minimisation of the risk of fraud and operational risk.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining/validating the integrity of the trade booking system and responsible for the nominations for the UK + European power and gas market.
The ideal candidate will have:
•Experience of managing teams
•Proven experience in Energy operations, ideally Trade Support
•Understanding of Energy markets - emissions, coal, freight, power, gas
•Understanding of IB infrastructure and applications is preferred, Endur, Reuters, respective exchange portals
•Understanding of Exchanges and emissions contracts traded
•Familiarity with Futures and Options expiries.
•Ability to communicate effectively across the organization, both orally and in writing
•Self starter, with the ability to work across Operations product groups and with Technology.
•Knowledge of derivative products.
