Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories, Inc. (SEL) seeks a Power Engineer - Lead and/or Senior Level to design and develop advanced power system monitoring, control, and automation equipment in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania office.

Power Engineer (Lead and/or Senior Level) King of Prussia, PA
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop distribution monitoring, control, and automation equipment
- Create product specifications and functional tests
- Author and maintain application literature, instruction manuals, and data sheets
- Develop technical and market analysis to evaluate proposed products or enhancements
- Assist field personnel in marketing and selling new products
- Write and present papers at technical conferences
- Mentor engineers and technicians
- Help improve existing RD processes
Qualifications:
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent education
- Minimum 4 years working knowledge of distribution monitoring, control, or automation equipment inside electric utilities or industrial plants
- Excellent technical training, speaking, and writing skills
- Willing relocate to King of Prussia, PA with up to 25 percent travel time
- Ability to teach, build consensus, and provide technical leadership to product development teams
