Power Management Software Architect - Low Power, Thermal modeling, Mobile Device, Android, SOC - San Jose, CA
If you are a Power System Architect with heavy mobile phone industry background, please read on!
This is an incredible opportunity with an industry leader in mobile SOC design. We are looking for a talented Software Architect to help define new standards and build next generation smartphone / tablet architecture.
What you will be doing:
- Drive the HW/SW low power design road maps and strategies for mobile products
- Power system design architecture and thermal management development
What you need for this position:
- 8+ years of design and development experience in the mobile phone industry
- Solid knowledge of low power and thermal technique and development trends
- Familiar with power distributions units and power management in mobile devices
- SW and HW system architectures and experience at the SOC / chipset level is a plus
- Programming in C/C++ and experience with embedded system design
- Experience with Linux and/or Android
- Master's degree or Ph.D in EE, CS or Computer Engineering
