Power Private Equity Associate recruitment
The Associate will join a seasoned team of investment professional specializing in the power industry. Responsibilities of the Associate role will include, but not be limited to,
* Provide analytical and asset valuation support for company's Private Equity and Trading groups.
* Provide input for strategic development and acquisition opportunities within the power industry.
* Develop and implement specific hedging strategies for various regions to maximize profits and minimize price volatility.
* Effectively manage power and gas trading activity to insure compliance with company's financial, risk, and strategic objectives.
Requirements:
* 2 to 4 years of analytical, structured transaction, or trading experience within power and gas industries. The ideal candidate would currently be in a notable Power Investment Banking Program as an Analyst 2, Analyst 3 or Associate 1
* Must possess a current and strong knowledge of power systems, generation assets, and fuel transportation.
* High energy level, self-starter, good communicator, effective at handling multiple tasks.
