Power & Utilities Corporate Finance Manager recruitment

World leading independent financial advisers in infrastructure has a newly created opportunity for a Manager in their UK Power and Utilities group. Crucial is your deep knowledge of the UK regulations affecting this sector.

Working within their corporate finance division, this is not purely an MA role. Rather you will be a subject matter expert providing in-depth advice on the strategic, financial and commercial issues underpinning investments in infrastructure. This advice will fall across transport, power and utilities and water.

Providing in-depth advice on corporate finance, regulatory finance and strategic issues affecting clients you should have strong regulation experience across power, water or the utilities sector. You will need to be adaptable as this is a varied role and we are looking for managers who can, for instance, use their knowledge of Ofgems regulatory regime and take this information to advice clients on commercial strategy.

Sector knowledge and regulator experience is a must - however you don't need to have prior corporate finance experience. We are keen to see candidates who either have mixed infrastructure experience or who specialise in Energy networks or Water. In an increasingly risk driven world - individuals who have strong experience of regulatory finance, regulatory regimes and regulated utilities will be particularly useful.

In return you will join an award winning team, a market leader and firm that prides itself on investing in career progression. £50-70k+car+bens+bonus LWI150437
