PR Account Manager-Voluntary/Public Sector/Charity Job in London, London Uk
One of the UK's Top 50 PR agencies is looking for a PR Account Manager to join their recognised and talented Public/ Voluntary team.
They have a strong presence with not-for-profit, voluntary and charitable organisations.
The PR Account Manager will help organisations raise their profile and awareness of an issue or appeal; build stronger relationships with stakeholders - from trusts and foundations, to governments and supporters and to provide critical crisis and issues management advice and/or support if needed. Generating positive media coverage is just part of the story. Their aim is to add real value by developing creative short-term campaigns and long-term programmes to ensure that the organisation's message is heard above the noise of a very crowded sector.
The successful PR Account Manager will have a minimum of 2 years experience working within the voluntary or public sector. Proven success in media engagement with ideally a strong network of media and influencer contacts, hard-working and committed, motivational manager of subordinates and a creative mind.
