PR Assistant Account Executive

Digital Global:

·         Each level applies a global lens to communication strategies.

·         Digital strategies are an expected component of the agency’s strategic thinking, communications plans, and client/influential engagement; each level is expected to apply a digital mindset as part of how WE think about communication strategy.

·          Strong working knowledge of platforms such as Twitter;  able to write compelling blog posts and identify emerging influencers online

 

Media Influentials:

·         Continue to develop relationships with 2nd and 3rd tier influentials.

·         Develop increased knowledge of new communication trends and apply to influential engagement.

·         Contribute ideas and brainstorm on top story strategies.

·         Develop outreach materials including buddy mails, pitch docs and media lists.

·         Craft and customize pitches for appropriate targets.

·         Manage and fulfill reactive requests.

 

Client Service:

·         Begin regular engagement with clients to better understand client needs and priorities and to increase client-facing interactions.

·         Coordinate projects (setting up meetings, capturing action items, following status)

·         Develop briefing materials. Read and flag coverage offering in-depth analysis and strategic recommendations based on industry knowledge.

 

People Leadership:

·         Demonstrate personal leadership - take accountability for your role on projects, demonstrate flexibility and give/accept feedback generatively.

·         Mentor and act as peer resource to junior staff, interns and new hires

·         Model agency values.
