PR, Content & Social Media Manager

A fast moving Online Marketplace Start-Up is expanding and has a superb opportunity for a PR, Content Social Media Manager with a strong digital bias to join their marketing team. Moving from strength to strength this leader in its space has since launching, had extensive press coverage including TV exposure on BBC news and radio, repeated coverage in broadsheet and tabloid newspapers as well as tech and financial services trade press and blogs.

This role would suit a PR geek and social media expert to communicate the company's purpose and story to a wider audience. Reporting into the Marketing Director and joining a small and dynamic team you will be responsible for developing their communication and social strategy. This will involve planning and executing the PR and communications strategy, managing PR agencies to deliver effective campaigns, managing social media channels, developing blogger outreach and create compelling content to widen the understanding of the brand.

To be considered for this role you will possess the relevant PR, content and social media experience from a digital background. A deep understanding of generating "virality" and word of mouth via social media is required as is experience of dealing with PR agencies and journalists. You will have a track record of identifying and reaching out to influencers and transforming them into advocated. Being able to demonstrate experience of driving ROI through engagement campaigns and social media is key as is enthusiasm for engaging with customers and communicating their stories.
