An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Media Relations Manager to work for a leading corporate bank in London.
The Media Relations Manager will report directly into the Head of Media Relations. You will be responsible for all media engagement stakeholder management, developing relationships with internal stakeholders to provide strategic communication advice and acting as their point of contact for all media communication needs. You will need to be able to promote the corporate banking in the media to targeted audiences, leveraging journalist relationships, and managing PR agencies.
This is a great position with excellent exposure to the business, you will work in partnership with the Internal Communications and Marketing teams in developing and executing coordinated communication campaigns.
We are looking for somebody who has solid PR/Media Relations experience particularly crisis management ideally within financial service and who is strategically minded in all communications.
You will be expected to have an interest in the economy and have commercial awareness - understand and can articulate how a corporate bank makes money and its client base.
