POSITION DETAILS:

 

PRACTICE MANAGEMENT

 

In collaboration with key Medical Directors and key hospital professionals, develop annual Account/Client Relationship Plans; to meet and exceed client expectations.  Implement continuous and on-going communication providing status-updates and adjustments to agree upon ASP’s.  (Including but limited to recruitment, management service organization service expectations, etc.)

Act as the primary liaison between client hospitals and company (in collaboration with key Medical Directors) to ensure that client recruitment, staffing and service expectations are met and exceeded.
Under the direction of the CEO and CFO, re-negotiate existing hospital contracts with C-level hospital professionals.

Maintain positive and on-going communication with key physician partners, Emergency Department Nurse Managers and other hospital personnel as needed.

Support regional recruitment initiatives- of quality emergency physicians and mid-level providers for client hospitals through development of creative marketing and recruitment planning and approaches.  Active involvement in the recruitment of key Medical Directors (as requested.)

Aid, in the screening, recruitment, and credentialing and contract negotiations of new physician candidates to ensure proper, as needed and/or requested. Coordinate credentialing process flow and issues with appropriate hospital personnel (as needed.)

Develop and institute a client satisfaction survey program of company’s management-support services
Work collaboratively with corporate office in development of value-added support programs. 

Coordinate implementation of such programs with clients and physicians.
Monitor program effectiveness.

--Develop Physician PA agreements
--s/u operating acct’s cash mgmt system
--Est. billing policies, interface and billing process w/hospital’s business office
--Chart mgmt process personnel
--Provider privileging credentialing
--Initial scheduling
--Physician recruitment (Director Staff MD’s)
--Documentation training
 


Contract Management

--Manage the hospital relationship (CEO, CMO, CNO, Quality, ED Nurse Manager Business Office)
--Manage assist the Medical Director
--Work on initiatives to improve clinical and operational performance
--Patient Satisfaction programs
--Oversee credentialing, enrollment chart flow
--Payer negotiations
--Handling coding, billing, AR recovery, collection issues (Managing the revenue cycle)
--Continued human resource issues (recruiting, interviewing, offer letters, contract negotiations, firing, performance appraisals, etc…)
--Monthly department meeting
--Managing incentive programs
--Report management and education: Documentation, ME Reports
--Compliance risk management programs
